Outright Telematics Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of GPS tracking devices and the provision of the Outright Telematics tracking platform.
By purchasing a device or subscription from us, you agree to these Terms.
- About Us
Outright Telematics is a trading name of Outright Hosting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

References to “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to Outright Hosting Ltd trading as Outright Telematics.
- Contract Formation
An order placed by you constitutes an offer to purchase a device and/or subscription.
A contract is formed when we accept your order by confirming dispatch of the device or activation of the subscription, whichever occurs first.
- Hardware Purchases
GPS tracking devices purchased through us are sold outright and become your property once payment has been completed.
Risk in the device passes to you on delivery.
The purchase of hardware is separate from the subscription service required to access the Outright Telematics tracking platform.
You are responsible for:
installation of the device
correct wiring and configuration
ongoing maintenance of the device
ensuring the device remains powered and operational
We are not responsible for loss, damage, misuse, or incorrect installation of the device after delivery.
Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.
- Delivery
We will arrange delivery of your device to the address provided.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside our control.
- Subscription Service
Access to the Outright Telematics tracking platform requires an active subscription.
Each device requires its own subscription.
The subscription provides:
access to the tracking platform
connectivity services for the device
a SIM card pre-installed in the tracking device
- Subscription Types
We offer two types of subscription:
Monthly Subscription
A monthly subscription is a rolling contract billed monthly in advance.
Payment is taken each month.
The subscription renews automatically each month.
You may cancel at any time before the next billing date to avoid renewal.
Annual Subscription
An annual subscription is a fixed 12-month term paid in advance.
Payment is taken upfront for the full 12-month period.
The subscription remains active for the full term.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of the 12-month period unless cancelled before renewal.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the service has started.
- Subscription Start
Your subscription begins when the device is dispatched or activated on our platform, whichever occurs first.
- Additional Devices
Each device operates under its own individual subscription.
If you purchase or activate an additional device while you already have an active subscription:
Where you have an annual subscription:
a new subscription will be created for the additional device
this subscription will be billed on a pro rata basis from the date of activation to the end of your current billing period
at the end of that period, the subscription for the additional device will renew on a full annual basis in line with your existing billing cycle
Where you have a monthly subscription:
a new subscription will be created for the additional device
this subscription will be billed from the date of activation
billing may be aligned to your existing billing cycle where applicable
By activating an additional device, you agree to the applicable pro rata charge and alignment of billing dates.
- Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically based on the billing period selected.
Monthly subscriptions renew each month.
Annual subscriptions renew each year.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for future billing periods.
You may cancel at any time before the next billing date to avoid renewal.
- Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
When cancelled:
the service will remain active until the end of the current billing period
no further renewal charges will be taken
Subscription payments are non-refundable once the service has commenced.
Annual subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period.
- Payment Failure
If we are unable to collect payment:
we may suspend access to the platform
we may terminate your subscription
service may be interrupted until payment is resolved
- Connectivity and SIM Card
Subscriptions include a SIM card pre-installed in the tracking device.
The SIM card:
is provided solely for use with the platform
may only be used in the device in which it was installed
must not be removed or used in other equipment
The SIM card remains our property and may be disabled if the subscription is cancelled or these Terms are breached.
- Device Configuration
Devices are configured by us for use with the platform.
While active:
device settings may be restricted to maintain service reliability
If your subscription ends:
the SIM will be deactivated
device configuration may be reset
platform access will be removed
- Installation and Feature Availability
We support features that are compatible with the device and platform.
Feature availability depends on:
the device model
correct installation and wiring
We do not guarantee functionality where installation is incorrect.
- Acceptable Use
You must not use the device or platform:
in any unlawful way
to interfere with networks
to track individuals unlawfully
in a way that disrupts the service
We may suspend or terminate access for misuse.
- Use of Tracking Devices
You are responsible for ensuring your use of tracking devices complies with applicable laws.
This includes notifying drivers or individuals where required.
We accept no responsibility for unlawful use.
- Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Service may be affected by:
maintenance
network outages
mobile provider issues
factors outside our control
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
loss of profits
loss of business
loss of data
indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for subscriptions in the previous 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
- Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
