This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to products purchased from Outright Telematics through our website.
Outright Telematics is a trading name of Outright Hosting Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14125572).
1. Hardware Purchases
All GPS tracking devices are sold as hardware products and become the property of the customer once purchased.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the device is suitable for their intended use before purchasing.
If you are unsure which device is appropriate, please contact us before placing your order.
2. Consumer Customers (B2C)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To exercise this right:
- you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the product
- the item must be returned within 14 days of cancellation
Returned items must be:
- unused
- in original condition
- returned with all packaging and accessories
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods.
Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.
If the device has been installed, used, activated or damaged, a deduction may be applied to the refund to reflect any loss in value.
3. Business Customers (B2B)
Where products are purchased for business use, the statutory 14-day cancellation period does not apply.
Returns from business customers are accepted only at our discretion.
Products must be unused and returned in original condition.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- devices that have been installed or used
- devices that have been provisioned or activated on the platform
- products returned without original packaging or accessories
- products damaged through incorrect installation or misuse
5. Faulty or Defective Products
If a device is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will arrange for the device to be:
- repaired
- replaced
- or refunded where appropriate
This does not apply where the fault has been caused by:
- incorrect installation
- physical damage
- misuse or modification of the device
6. Subscription Services
Subscription services for the tracking platform are digital services and are activated once the device has been provisioned and dispatched.
Once activated, subscription payments are non-refundable.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period.
7. Return Process
To request a return, please contact our support team with your order details.
Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Refunds may take several working days to appear depending on your payment provider.
9. Damaged Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs where possible.
